Namaste

“Namaste. I bow to the divine in you.”

– Celinne Da Costa

The cosmic energy that thaws the frozen pines and gently welcomes the buds of flowers has returned to our universe. Namaste, may the light of the universe brighten your lives. February saw us celebrate Valentine’s Day with a promotion on our Kama Sutra Chai. We also recognize the importance of Family Day and its celebration of what is truly important in life. Both days strike at the heart of what is central to our mission at Chai Ghai, love and family. Chai, in India, has always been shared with family and loved ones, and its our intention to continue this Indian tradition here in North America.  We also welcome  Parsley, Sage and Thyme Health Store to the Chai Ghai family. They now include Chai Ghai products on their shelves in Ladner, BC. We also have some exciting news coming up, with Women’s History Month, and a huge contest we will be hosting in March. Namaste, as we continue to share our journey one sip at a time.

Welcome to the Family

Chai Ghai would like to say Namaste to the newest member of our family, Parsley, Sage and Thyme Health Store. For nearly 50 years Parsley, Sage and Thyme has been serving the Ladner and greater Delta community, offering many necessary and essential health products to their customers. We have now partnered with them to include Chai Ghai products amongst their wares. They offer various types of foods, vitamins and supplements among others to help you feel at your best when going about your day. Chai Ghai’s chais and teas, with their combination of black and green teas and various masala spices present another healthy option for those in search of holistic medicine. With their location situated in a heritage house dating back almost a hundred years they are as big on tradition as we are. Sharing the value of making our community a better place, are goals are aligned. We are proud to have them carry our full spectrum of vibes and look forward to continuing to service our Lower Mainland customers as we increase our retail partnerships.

Women's History Month

March denotes Women’s History month, and in honour of this, Chai Ghai will be donating $2 from every purchase to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Center in Vancouver. We are heading this fundraiser to help support a pillar in the downtown eastside community.  We have donated 60 blankets to them over the holidays, and we believe that we can further help them through this fundraiser. By pledging these donations to the DEWC, Chai Ghai hopes that the many women who look to them as a beacon of growth and hope can continue to benefit from their warm embrace. The contribution of the DEWC to the more vulnerable areas of Vancouver is immeasurable and we at Chai Ghai will continue to do our part in aiding their work. We have been blessed to walk a shared path with the DEWC and will continue our seva to give back to such a worthy supporting service. Through this we also hope to help bring the awareness of their efforts, and further grow support for them.

Welcome - Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (dewc.ca)
